LG Electronics' video device utilizes the same remote control signal, allowing multiple devices to be operated simultaneously when they are in the same vicinity.
While in StanbyME TVs and certain beam projectors you can set the remote control for exclusive use,
products lacking this feature cannot be set to respond exclusively to a specific remote control.
It is advisable to place the devices in separate locations, if feasible.
Causes and Symptoms
- I used the remote control to turn on my StanbyME TV, and the other TV nearby was also powered on.
- Whenever I use the remote control to turn on the TV, the nearby beam projector also turns on.
- Two TVs respond to my remote control at the same time.
