screen aspect ratio
The 18:9 screen aspect ratio for the LG G6 is new for the industry. It may take some time for applications to provide native support for this resolution.
In the meantime, you may experience differences for how the content is rendered based on the application you are using.
Many video players provide a function to expand the content to full screen, however this is dependent on the ratio of the content being played as well as
if the player supports this feature.
For players that do not support this feature, you may notice black bars either horizontally or vertically when the content is being played back. This is normal.
