Would you like to know how to maintain the washing machine for clean use?
The washing machine is prone to retaining moisture inside and easily leaves water stains so it should be cleaned regularly.
You are encouraged to clean detergent dispensers once a week, and once a month for the door gaskets on the washer door.
It helps to maintain the inside clean if you activate the [Tub Clean] cycle 1~2 times a month.
Try this
Clean detergent dispensers regularly once a week.
➔ Remove the detergent dispenser and clean away any detergent and fabric softener residue using lukewarm water.
If detergent or fabric softeners become hardened in the detergent dispenser, they will not enter the tub properly when washing cycles start.
2. Clean it with a toothbrush using lukewarm water as shown, and then reinsert the detergent dispenser.
Put fabric softener into the detergent dispenser and select [Rinse 1 time] and press the [Start/Pause] button to operate.
If there is no fabric softener left in the detergent dispenser after the water has entered the tub, it is working normally.

3. Put the lid tightly back on and reinsert the fabric softener dispenser.
Clean the door gasket with oxygen-based bleach about once a month.
➔ The door gasket can get foreign objects such as lint or hair strands from washing.
If not removed, those foreign objects could cause gaps that allow water leak from the machine.
Wipe it with oxygen-based bleach and leave the washing machine door open to dry.
Clean the tub with the [Tub Clean] cycle 1~2 times a month.
➔ You can easily remove microorganisms and detergent residue which cause odors by using a tub cleaner that can be purchased through online shopping malls or stores.
2. If you select [Tub Clean] on the display [tcl] (Tub Clean) will appear on the screen.
3. Tub cleaning will start once you press the [Start / Pause] button.
Do not add laundry when you are running the [Tub Clean] cycle.

Regularly remove foreign objects from the drainage filter (drainage pump filter).
➔ Check if there is any hot water in the tub before disassembling the drainage filter for cleaning.
Place a container under the cover as water may fall to the floor.
Be careful as the water could be hot.
Regularly remove any foreign objects found in the water circulation filter inside the door gasket of the washer.
➔ Water circulation nozzle is either located at the top or bottom of the washing machine door.
If any foreign objects get stuck in the water circulation nozzle, water may not circulate well causing water to accumulate after washing.
Remove any foreign objects with tweezers, tongs, or a suitable tool and then use a toothbrush to clean the nozzle.
※ Depending on the washing machine model, there may not be a water circulation nozzle.
Clean out the water supply filter, regularly removing any foreign objects.
➔ Close the faucet first and turn the end of the water supply hose as shown to disassemble.
Locate the filter in the connector of the water supply hose, and remove it with your fingers, pliers or a suitable tool tongs.
Then use a toothbrush to remove any foreign objects such as rust, sand, or stones.
