➔ Check if the remote control is working using your mobile phone camera.

1. If you can see the infrared light from the transmitter when you press the button on the remote control using your mobile phone camera,
the remote control is normal.

  • If not, replace the batteries of the remote control and check it again.
  • If only certain buttons do not light, the remote control may be defective.
  • If all buttons do not light, replace the batteries first.

※ If it is judged that the remote control is defective, you can purchase a replacement from the nearest LG Electronics service center or
LG Electronics service website > Parts & Accessories.


➔ Replace the batteries of the TV monitor's general/simple remote control.

1. Push down the cover for the battery on the rear of the remote control to open it.

2. Check that battery positive[+] and the negative[-] poles are correctly positioned inside the remote control. (Example: 1.5V (volt), AA type, AAA type)

3. When replacing the batteries, make sure that both of them are new and of the same type.


Note
If the batteries for the remote control are discharged, or inserted in the incorrect direction, it will not operate.
Check the battery replacement and assembly status.
If some specific buttons on the remote control do not work, then you need to check the remote control for defects.
