The central control is a function for remote control of the air conditioner of a building from the management office.
When the management office prevents individual control at each room, HL message appears on the cable remote control of the indoor unit.

Please try the following:
Is the central control device in use?
➔ If you wish to change the operation mode, please contact the building’s air-conditioning manager.
The building’s air-conditioning management office may have configured the product to prevent unauthorized changes.
Does “HL” appear when the central control device is not installed?
➔ This error may be temporary. To resolve it, turn off the dedicated circuit breaker for the air conditioner, wait for 5 minutes, then turn the breaker back on to reset the product.
