[LG Air Conditioner Cleaning] [Ceiling-concealed duct] How to clean the filter

Troubleshooting

If the filter is covered with dust, cooling and heating performance may be degraded and may result in higher electric bills.
Clean the filter upon regular basis.

Try this.

1. For safety, unplug the power cord, and turn off the main power switch before cleaning the filter.

2. Open the filter cover of the ceiling intake vent, and remove the filter.
The intake vent of the ceiling-concealed duct air conditioner is installed on the ceiling remote from the product.
(The intake vent is one of interior finishing materials, and opening/closing of the vent may vary among manufacturers.)

3. Clean the separated filter with a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush.
If it is severely contaminated, wash it in water using neutral detergent.

Note
Do not use hot water over 40℃ (104℉) for washing.

4. When drying the filter, dry it in the shade, away from fire or direct sunlight.
