The new handset was launched in line with LG Electronics’ aims to grant clients an unmatched mobile experience, synonymous with the Optimus G name. Its features respond to the rising demand for handsets with larger HD displays.
Consequently, the Optimus G Pro’s display comes with a viewing angle of 178 degrees, thanks to its support for In-plane switching (IPS) technology. Furthermore, it delivers exceptional viewing quality at 1920 x 1080 pixels with an image clarity ratio of 400 pixels/inch.
The Smartphone also offers the largest battery capacity in its category, boasting a rate of 3.140mAh, and thus allowing for Full HD viewing pleasure for hours on end.
With its enhanced 13MP rear and 2.1MP front camera, users can also capture images and videos in Full HD, offering image clarity of the same quality found on high definition TVs.
LG's Optimus G Pro is one of the most advanced Smartphones currently on the market. It was recently honored with the Best LTE Device/Handset Award at LTE World Summit 2013 in recognition of its performance and features. The handset supports a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, and its memory offers a RAM space of 2GB DDR and internal memory capacity of 16 GB.
The phone comes with newly introduced specifications unique to it, including; the dual recording and virtual reality (VR) panorama. The dual recording feature allows users to capture video with both the front and rear cameras simultaneously, while VR panorama allows for shots of horizontal and vertical environments at 360 degrees.
The handset’s advanced eye recognition technology, Smart Video is designed to determine the position of the viewer’s eyes and then to automatically play or stop running videos without any manual input from the user. Once the user’s gaze returns to the display, the video resumes playback from the point last viewed.
Its Quick Memo feature allows for the instant screen capture for any content including web pages, photographs, and videos. Once the content on the screen is captured, the user can write, draw, or jot a memo directly on the screen captured using their finger, while the Q slide feature enables the user to carry out more than one function on the phone at once, for example he/she can answer the phone while also watching a movie
