What’s Time Machine Ready feature?
➔ You can utilize the Time Machine function while watching analog broadcasting, digital
broadcasting, and external input videos.
This function allows you to save the current program on the hard disk and view it later.
Also, even if you leave the TV for a moment and come back, you can view the program starting from the
location where you left.
Please note that the Time Machine recording is only available for digital broadcasting channels.
The Timeshift function is available only for the broadcast channels received via the antenna input
port.
The Time Machine feature temporarily stores content and remembers it for up to 2 hours.
When switching the input to RGB-PC, HDMI, or Component, performing Auto Channel, powering off, recording,
playing music,
viewing photos, playing recordings from the list, or initializing the settings, the content stored by the
Time Machine function gets lost.
Depending on the status of the hard disk storage, it may take up to 3 minutes for the device to warm up for
Time Machine.

How to set the Time Machine Ready feature
Select [Menu] → [Detailed Settings] → [Time Machine] → [Time Machine Mode], select either [Auto] or [Manual], and select [OK].
1. Connect the external storage cable to USB Input 1.
Only [USB Input 1 / Time Machine Ready] port is available. Products with a built-in storage device are not supported.
2. Check the capacity of the external storage.
The external USB storage device must have a capacity of 40 GB or more.
3. Run the Initialize USB Storage option.
Make sure that the USB storage device is connected and has been initialized exclusively for [Time
Machine].
You can initialize the device when connecting it for the first time or by pressing the [Record]
button.
Once reset for Time Machine optimization, the USB storage device cannot be used or restored for use on a PC.
4. Check if your product has a built-in storage or is a Time Machine Ready type.

5. Switching to digital broadcasting in Ready-type products
In Ready-type products, analog broadcasting and external input videos are not supported.
Please switch to digital broadcasting.
The Time Machine retains recordings temporarily (for up to 2 hours),
and switching to analog
broadcasting or any external input will result in the recordings being lost.
6. Check the available capacity of the storage device.
If the capacity of the external storage is full, you can either initialize the storage or select and delete files to free up space.
