If gas is not supplied, the burner will not ignite even if the tub rotates, and there will be no heat inside the tub, so drying will not occur.
As a result, even though the gas valve for the dryer is open, the fuse cock in the valve activates, making it occasionally impossible to provide gas.
When gas flows beyond the standard capacity, the fuse cock operates and the gas is cut off.
If the dryer was installed before November 2015, the gas may have been shut off due to a low-capacity fuse cock.
Try this
Is the middle valve connected to the dryer open?
➔ Be sure to open the valve before using the dryer.
If the middle valve is closed, gas is not supplied and drying is not possible even if the tub rotates.
(※ If the valve is in a horizontal position, it means it’s closed while a vertical position means it’s open.)
Is the fuse cock in the valve operating and the gas shut off, even if the middle valve is open?
➔ Close and open the middle valve (repeat 2~3 times), and run the dryer for 1 minute to check for heating.
When the pressure is high, the fuse cock in the gas valve operates and blocks the gas supply.
It is the same as when you are using a gas stove and it does not ignite even if the valve is open.
Customers who experience these symptoms must close and open the gas valve before using the dryer.
(※ For apartments, the gas pressure may vary slightly depending on the location.)
Are gas appliances other than the dryer operating normally?
