[LG Cord Zero R9] I hear the error voice message saying 'The infrared sensor is defective, so, charging is not attempted

Troubleshooting

※ The error message may be different from the actual message you hear from the product.

Foreign objects or scratches in the infrared sensor can cause a problem.
For smooth operation, do not place an object on top of the product or attach a sticker to it.

Try this

Do not place an object on top of the product or attach a sticker. Remove all protective films.
Do not place objects on the product and do not attach stickers / Removing the plastic packaging from the charging station
The location of the 4 receiver sensors on the display window on the top of the product and the location of the 1 transmitter sensor on the charging stand.

Installation environment

➔ Make sure that the floor is flat near the wall and there is no obstacle near the charging station(left/right side: 1.5 m[59in], front: 2 m[78.7in] ).

➔ Make sure the charging station is completely seated against the wall.

Secure space of 1.5m [59in] on the left and right sides of the charging station and 2m [78.7in] in the front / Check the power LED on the charging station / Install the charging station on a flat floor.

➔ After inserting the power cord, nicely arrange the power cable.

If the charging station is powered on, the LED indicator will be turned on.
By wrapping the power cable around the fixing hook on the back of the charging station, you can adjust the length of the power cable.

Plug the charging station into an outlet and check whether the LED lights up.
Warning!

When using the product, do not remove the power cable from the charging station.
If the charging station is not powered on, the robot vacuum cleaner may not be able to find it.
