The [Lock function] is a function of locking particular channels and external inputs.
After locking a channel, if the password is entered in the locked channel, it will be unlocked temporarily.
Using the app lock feature allows restriction of app usage.
By setting a password, it is possible to temporarily unlock the locked app by entering the password.
Causes and Symptoms
- I forgot the password.
- A password input window pops up.
- I want to lock the channel.
- I want to lock the product from any external input.

1. After turning on the TV, press the [Settings] button on the remote control.
In the [Settings] section, select [All Settings].
2. Select [Application Lock] from the [Safely] menu.
3. Enter the [password].
4. Under the [Application Lock], select an app to restrict.
A ✓ will be displayed when an app to unlock is selected.
- System Lock: Select [Menu] → [Lock Settings] (Enter Password: [0000]) → Select System Lock as [On].
- Change password: [Menu] → [Lock settings] → Enter the default password (0000) → Enter the current password (0000) and then enter the new password.

Channel Lock: [Menu] → [Lock Settings] → [Channel Lock] → Switch to the desired channel → Press the green button on the remote control.
When the mark appears on the corresponding channel, the setup is complete. - External Input Lock: [Menu] → [Lock Settings] → [External Input Lock Settings] → Move the arrow to the external input to lock and switch it to [On].
※ Resetting the password is possible if you forget the original password.
