Depending on the operation methods, outdoor unit operation will vary accordingly.
Air purification function
If you use the air purification function alone, the outdoor unit does not operate. When using the cooling operation function of air purification, the cooling + air purification function is executed to operate the outdoor unit.
Fan mode
If you use the fan mode, the outdoor unit does not operate.
Dehumidification function
If you use the dehumidification function, the outdoor unit operates.
The dehumidification function of air conditioner is used to remove moisture while reducing the indoor temperature, it operates the outdoor unit during dehumidification operation.
If only fan wind comes out from the air conditioner, then it is not possible to remove moisture because of there is no temperature difference inside.
