[LG TONE Free] I'm using TONE Free for the first time, how should I use it?

➔ Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone and press the pairing button on the LG TONE Free to connect.

To pair with your smartphone

1. Open the LG TONE Free charging case and place the earbuds in the cradle.
Press and hold the pairing button on the side of the charging case for 3 to 5 seconds until the indicator light blinks blue.

2. If a pop-up window appears at the top of your smartphone screen, tap it to connect.
If it does not appear, select your LG TONE Free model in the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone.

Install the LG TONE Free app on your smartphone.

➔ Search for LG TONE Free in Google Play or Apple Store, depending on your smartphone model, and install it.

You can also install the app by scanning the QR code on the user guide with your smartphone camera.

Update the TONE Free software to the latest version.

To update it to the latest software

1. Open the charging case and place the earbuds in the cradle. Launch the LG TONE Free app to check for any available updates.

2. After checking for updates, tap [Update].
If it doesn’t show available updates automatically, scroll up the smartphone screen and select [Software Update].

3. If your TONE Free has the latest software installed, you will see the message "You are currently using the latest software".
If you need to update, click [Download and Install] on the screen.
