[LG Air Conditioner Hose] Cooling is performed, but no water drains from the exhaust hose

Troubleshooting

Drainage may vary depending on outdoor environment [humidity/temperature], and drainage increases on days of high humidity.
Drainage may reduce or no drain is made in spring, fall and winter of low temperature even if humidity is high.

Causes and Symptoms

  • The ambient temperature or humidity is low.
  • The target temperature is same as or higher than the indoor temperature.

Try this

Set the target temperature lower than the indoor temperature during operation of the product in the cooling mode.

➔ When the target temperature is same as or lower than the indoor temperature during the cooling mode, drainage reduces.

Lowering the desired temperature from 24℃(75.2℉) to 18℃(64.4℉) by pressing the button below the temperature on the remote control

Check the temperature and the humidity surrounding the air conditioner.

➔ When ambient temperature or humidity is low, drainage reduces.

[Conditions of small drainage] Small or no drainage at ambient temperature below 25℃(77℉) and indoor humidity below 45%.
[Conditions of large drainage] Large drainage at ambient temperature above 25℃(77℉) and indoor humidity above 50%.

Small drainage during good cooling is caused by ambient environmental conditions. Rest assured as it is not a product defect.

The amount of drainage decreased in the absence of water. Increased drainage in well-watered conditions
