[LG Dryer drying time] The drying time has finished, but the dryer continues to operate

Troubleshooting

Does the remaining time increase during drying?

If the gas dryer determines that the laundry is not sufficiently dry when 6 minutes remain, it will add 10 minutes to continue the process. For electric dryers, it will make a determination at the 11 minute mark.
This is a natural process for a thorough dry.
Also, when drying is complete and [Anti Crease] is in progress, it may appear as if the dryer is running even after the timer has stopped.

Additional 10 minutes if laundry is not dry
Wait! Here are more tips
The electric dryer may continue to dry with the time remaining unchanged.

Try this

Is the light indicator on the [Anti Crease] button turned on?

➔ When a dotted border appears on the dryer's display, press the [Power] button to end the operation.

If the [End] indicator and dotted border appear alternately on the dryer’s display as shown below, it means that [Anti Crease] is in progress.
As the drying cycle has already been completed, press the [Power] button to end the operation, and wait for the [Door Locked] indicator to disappear before opening the dryer door to remove the laundry.

A dotted border appears in the display window to exit the operation

Does the remaining drying time continue to increase?

➔ This may be due to failure to select the appropriate drying cycle for the laundry or there may be foreign substances on the humidity sensor or filter.

Reasons for extended drying time may vary.
The filter may be clogged, which can block proper air circulation, or the thickness of the laundry may vary, making it harder for the humidity sensor to determine the level of dryness.
A drying cycle that is not suitable for the laundry may have been selected.
Low temperatures surrounding the dryer may mean longer times for preheating and increase drying times.
