[LG Styler drying] The clothes are still damp after drying.

Troubleshooting

Are the clothes you took out not dried properly or damp even after the drying cycle has been completed?

Styler uses blown air to dry clothes.
Consider the fabric and thickness of the clothing when hanging it on the moving hanger, leaving room between each item to allow for proper airflow.
If you do not ventilate after [Styling] is finished, any moisture remaining inside the Styler may permeate your clothes again, making them damp.
In order to promote proper air circulation, the filter should also be regularly maintained.

Causes and Symptoms

  • Either there were too many garments hanging or the clothing was made of heavy fabric.
  • After [Styling] was over, the door was left closed for a long time.
  • The filter was clogged with dust and debris.
  • Damp clothes were placed in the Styler to dry.

Try this

Do you have a lot of bulky or thick clothes hanging inside?

➔ Place the items of clothing so that there is space between them and proceed with [Gentle Dry] separately.

For bulky winter outer clothes, such as long puffer jackets, hang only one in the middle of the moving hanger to dry.
Space out thick clothes so that they do not overlap, then proceed with [Gentle Dry].
Also, make sure that your clothes are not folded or touching the inside wall of the Styler.
If the inside of the clothes is damp, pause while drying, turn the clothes inside out, and then proceed again.
For pants made of thick material, such as jeans, hang them on hangers with the waist section widely spread.

Using the sensor included into the Styler, [Standard Dry] only eliminates an appropriate amount of moisture.
If you want to dry the clothes even more, press [Select time] in the [Dry] menu.

Did you close the door right after [Styling] was over without taking out your clothes?

➔ After finishing [Styling], remove the clothes from the Styler within 40 minutes and open the door to ventilate it.

Moisture cannot escape if the Styler door is closed for an extended period of time after running a cycle that uses steam.
At this time, the moisture remaining inside the Styler may permeate the clothes again, making the clothes damp.
Open the door widely for ventilation after using the Styler, and if the interior wall shows any moisture, wipe it down with a dry towel.

Description of internal ventilation

Is there a lot of dust in the filter?

➔ Clean away any dust attached to the filter to ensure proper airflow.

Remove the filter, examine it, and clean it if there is a lot of dust present.
If you use the Styler while the filter is still wet, the drying function may not work properly.
After cleaning the filter, dry it completely and put it back in place.

Cleaning the Filters
1. Hold both sides of the grill with your hands and lift it up. Then take out the filter from below.
2. Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust that is stuck to the filter.
3. Rinse the filter with water, dry it completely, and put it back in place.

Did you put wet clothes in the Styler before operating it?

➔ Before [Styling], remove any excess moisture from the clothes.

If you run the Styler without properly spinning your clothes after washing, the clothes may not dry completely.
Drying may take longer, which may result in higher electricity bills.
Also, if you put clothes wet with snow and rain and use the [Styling] menu or the [Sterilize] menu, drying may not work effectively.
If the clothes are still damp after the cycle is finished, proceed with [Gentle Dry].
