How can I set on/off time?
Symptom
Do you want to schedule on/off time?
You can schedule on/off time in the Settings.
※ To use this feature, it must have correct current time.
If the clock is set “Manual”, you need to set time again after turning off the power supply.
How
to fix
Non-Smart TV
1. T schedule ON Time
[SETTINGS] → [TIME] → [On Time]
- Repeat : Select [Once], [Select the day], [Daily], [Mon.~Fri.], [Mon.~Sat.], [Sat.~Sun.], [Sun.] or [Off]
- Hour, Minute : Set the time (hour or minute) to turn on the TV.
- Input : Select the Input mode that will appear on the screen when you turn on the TV.
(For set-top box user, select the input mode that set-top box is connected to TV)
- Channel : Select the channel you want to watch.
For Input, you must set as TV and for Channel, you can select among DTV/TV/wired DTV/
wired TV. (For set-top box user, you can’t select the channel)
- Volume : Select the volume. (0~100)
※ While it is set as HDMI, Component, and External Input, TV turns on automatically, but if the peripheral (eg. Set-top box) is off, it will display “No signal” after 15minutes of display, TV will automatically be turned off.
Smart TV ‘12~’13
[HOME] or [Setting Menu] → [SETTINGS] → [TIME] → [On Time]
- Repeat : Select [Once], [Select the day], [Daily], [Mon.~Fri.], [Mon.~Sat.], [Sat.~Sun.], [Sun.] or [Off]
- Hour, Minute : Set the time (hour or minute) to turn on the TV.
- Input : Select the Input mode that will appear on the screen when you turn on the TV.
(For set-top box user, select the input mode that set-top box is connected to TV)
- Channel : Select the channel you want to watch.
For Input, you must set as TV and for Channel, you can select among DTV/TV/wired DTV/
wired TV. (For set-top box user, you can’t select the channel)
- Volume : Select the volume. (0~100)
※ When you set input mode as HDMI, Component or External input, if the peripherals(set-top box) that is connected to the input mode is turned off, it will display “no signal” even though TV is turned on. And if it displays “no signal” for more than 15 minutes, TV will automatically be turned off.

- Repeat : Select [Once], [Select the day], [Daily], [Mon.~Fri.], [Mon.~Sat.], [Sat.~Sun.], [Sun.] or [Off]
- Hour, Minute : Set the time (hour or minute) to turn on the TV.
※ When using set-top box, only TV will be turned off at the set time, but not the set-top box.
