Using Detergents
➔ Add powdered detergent to the detergent dispenser for use.
For liquid detergent, add a recommended amount for use directly into the tub where laundry is placed.
When using liquid detergent, it is recommended that it is washed immediately after adding detergent in order to prevent damage to the fabric.
➔ Add detergent and fabric softener according to the amount recommended by manufacturer.
Adding more than the correct amounts of detergent and fabric softener may result in detergent that is not dissolved and fabric softener that accumulates in the product perhaps causing an odor.
You can keep the tub clean by washing the tub periodically using the Tub Clean course.
※ Use a detergent for top load washing machines. A detergent for front load washing machines is not recommended.
-
Do not use a laundry soap.
If laundry soap (natural oil) is used for a long period of time, dirt separated from the laundry may stick to the tub and then come out of the machine. -
It is recommended to use liquid detergent for washing duvets.
Be sure to dissolve powdered detergents in warm water before adding it. - Reserved washing is not recommended for liquid detergent in order to prevent damage to the fabric.
Using Fabric Softener
Fabric softener is added automatically during the final rinsing.
When fabric softener is added automatically, the sound of liquid being supplied may differ from the sound of normal water supply.
➔ Add fabric softener up to the MAX line (reference line) to prevent it from overflowing.
Otherwise, fabric softener will be directly injected into the washer.
➔ If there is remaining water in the fabric softener dispenser drawer, remove the detergent dispenser and remove any water before adding softener.
➔ Before carrying out washing, add fabric softener to the fabric softener dispenser drawer and gently push the detergent dispenser in to close it.
When closing it forcibly, fabric softener may slosh out and be added directly into the tub.
➔ Add fabric softener when using the washing machine.
If fabric softener is added in advance and left in the detergent dispenser, it may harden and clog the insertion hole.
- It is not recommended to use concentrated fabric softeners as the softener adding function may not operate effectively.
-
If the water pressure is so low that the fabric softener is not added automatically, add it directly into the tub during the final rinse.
For a model with the lock function, add it after unlocking.
Using bleach
➔ Use the powdered detergent dispenser for powdered bleach and the place to add bleach for liquid bleach.
Only add liquid bleach to the place to add liquid bleach.
Adding powdered bleach may cause clogging.
Do not add bleach directly onto laundry.
The laundry may be partially discolored or damaged.
