If the water supply is cut off
- The water supply stops for one minute after pressing the Start button, in order to detect the accurate laundry weight.
- The water supply might be cut off if the installation of the cold water hose and hot water hose has been switched.
- The water supply might not work or be weak if the water supply hose is bent.
- The water supply might not work or be weak if the water supply filter is blocked.
- The water supply might not work if the faucet is closed.
- The dE error occurs if the washing machine door is opened.
Try this
If the water supply is cut off
➔ The washing cycle may not have proceeded as there is no water in the tub.
New washing machine models, ones in which you turn on and press the Start button, operate for 40 seconds without water supply in order to detect the laundry weight.
At this time, the agitator moves left and right, and might make a clicking sound.
Once the laundry weight is detected, the water supply turns on. This is a normal operation, so you can use it with an easy mind. (Open the faucet all the way.)
➔ The water supply might not work properly if the installation of the cold water hose and warm water hose has been switched.
If the laundry is hot after washing, or if the washing machine door has condensation on it, or if the water supply is cut off, please check if the water supply hose has been installed in reverse.
➔ Check to make sure the water supply hose is not bent
For underground water or old apartments, please clean the water supply filter to prevent foreign substances from entering into the washing machine.
How to clean the water supply filter
1. Turn off the water faucet and disconnect the power cord.
2. Separate the water supply hose connected to the washing machine by turning it to the left (counterclockwise), and separate the filter from inside it using pliers, etc.
3. Clean the water supply filter with a toothbrush under running water to remove foreign objects such as water stains or rust, and then reinsert it.
However, this is normal, so please use it with confidence.
