The buttons on the Styler are touch-type buttons, so if the button are dirty or smeared with foreign matter, they may not respond after your press.
The buttons detect and react to any static electricity on your hand, but if you touch a button while wearing gloves or your hands are wet, detection may not be possible.
Try this
Wipe any contaminants off of the buttons.
The door of the Styler is made of tempered glass.
When removing contaminants, use a glass cleaner or wipe it with a wet towel and then wipe it dry with a dry towel.
Be careful not to scratch or shock the glass.
Before touching buttons, take off your gloves and/or dry your hands.
For the [Power] and [Start/Pause] buttons, the touch recognition area is in the center of the button, and for cycle and option buttons, the touch recognition area is at the edge of the button.
When selecting the cycle and options, press the square line of the button for better recognition.
