Is the detergent left as it was even after the dishwasher has finished operation? Some of the detergent did not dissolve and stuck to the bottom of the detergent dispenser?
Causes and Symptom
- Dishes were placed in the wrong way, so water couldn’t reach inside the detergent dispenser.
- Water is left in the detergent dispenser and the detergent is stuck to it.
When washing begins, the detergent dispenser lid automatically opens, and the detergent falls to the bottom and dissolves in the water.
At this time, the water spout from the nozzle dissolves any detergent left in the detergent dispenser.
If, however, you did not place the dishes correctly, or if any water is left in the detergent dispenser, then detergent may be left even after washing is completed.
Try this
Is the detergent dispenser blocked by a big pot or a frying pan?
➔ Correctly place the dishes in the dish basket.
If a big plate, a frying pan, or a pot stand in front of the detergent dispenser, it may prevent water from entering and thus some of the detergent may remain.
Place small dishes in front of the detergent dispenser whenever possible.
Is there water in the detergent dispenser, or did you add the detergent using wet hands?
➔ Before you add detergent, wipe any water from the detergent dispenser with a dry cloth.
In addition, wipe off water from your hands before you add detergent.
If any water is left around the detergent dispenser, or if you put the detergent using wet hands, the detergent sticks to the detergent dispenser because of the water even though the lid opens.
Before you add detergent, wipe off any water left in the detergent dispenser and your hands using a dry cloth.
Before you use a tablet type detergent, check that the wrapping vinyl dissolves in water.
If the vinyl does not dissolve, remove it and put in the detergent only.
