My circuit breaker keeps tripping when operating the product/ during the operation.

Troubleshooting

■ Tttle

My circuit breaker keeps tripping when operating the product/ during the operation.

■ Problem

Power supply

■ Symptom

Circuit breaker shuts off

■ Possible Cause

Air conditioner is an appliance that consumes a lot of electricity to quickly cool down the room temperature.

It should be directly connected to the exclusive circuit breaker as it consumes a lot of electricity.

The circuit breaker may shut off when used with a power strip or because of the temporary overload.

■ Solution or Settings

1.If the power cord is loose, it may result in the overheating of the cord or power off.

- Remove the power cord and cool it down for about 30 minutes, and then insert it again correctly to restart the appliance.

2. Please avoid using the power strip and connect it to a single wall outlet.

3.If it’s inevitable to use a power strip in your installation environment, please use the air conditioner alone with a product of 16A (Amp) or more and a line thickness

 of 2 to 2.5mm

The floor standing  air conditioner cannot be used with a power strip.

There is a risk of fire even if it is used alone in a power strip due to the Max current issue of the floor standing type air conditioner.

[ How to check capacity of the power strips ]

   - Maximum Capacity: 16A X 250V = 4000W

   - Optimum Capacity:  80% or less of the maximum capacity

   Less than 16A X 250V X 0.8 = 3200W

※ 16A-250V or more is recommended in case of using the power strip.

The Max current of the air conditioner is 16A-20A depending on the sizes of the room floor

The power of the product may go off if you use it with other electrical appliances or the outdoor unit is overheated

       by the summer heatwave.

4. Cool down the overheated outdoor unit and then turn on the circuit breaker again.

The outdoor unit is defective if the symptom continues or the circuit breaker shuts down within 3 minutes after turning on the product.

In this case, the product needs to be inspected by a qualified technician.

The recommended capacity of the circuit breaker for the residential air conditioner is 20 A or more.

The capacity of the circuit breaker is marked on the switch.

Air conditioner is an appliance that consumes a lot of electricity to quickly cool down the room temperature.
