[LG refrigerator display] The display keeps turning off or doesn’t turn on at all.

Troubleshooting

Does the display keep turning off or not turn on at all?
This may occur if the connector that wires the door to the main body is not connected.
In addition, the display may turn off after a certain time due to the power saving feature in order to save electricity.

Try this

Has the door been disassembled and reassembled after moving or relocating the product?

➔ Check if the connector that connects the door to the main body is properly connected.

The display will not turn on if the connector between the door and the main body is disconnected.
If the door has been disassembled and reassembled while moving or relocating the product, ensure that the connector joining the door and the main body are properly connected.
Use a [+] shaped screwdriver to remove the cover located above the door and check if the door connector is connected to the main body.

Does the display turn on and then off when you open the door or press a button?

➔ It is a power saving feature designed to save electricity.

If the door is closed or no button operation is performed, the display light will automatically turn off after about 20 seconds.
Depending on the specifications of some LED models, some products may turn off all display lights but leave the [Lock/Unlock] indicator light on.
If the display does not turn on, even after turning the power on, a product inspection of the display or other components may be required.
