Causes and symptoms
- Does the TV monitor and another TV turn off or on at the same time when you press the power button of the remote control?
- Does pressing the power button on the remote control turn on the TV monitor and turn off the other TV that you were watching?
Try this
➔ Change the function of the TV monitor remote control to "Off".
1. If you press and hold the [ ∗ or Settings] button on the remote control for [5 seconds], the channel guide screen will appear in the upper left corner.
2. If the number [0] button on the remote control is pressed [5 times in a row] while in the channel guide screen, the [IR Lock On] window will appear and
the function of the remote control will be changed to [Off].
At the same time, the TV monitors will not operate simultaneously when the TV remote control is used.
3. The unlocking method is the same as the ‘On’ method. (When set, the On/Off function is switched.)
- The [IR Lock] function is available on TV monitors manufactured after 2014, but it is not available on earlier models.
- If the [IR Lock] function is not available, cover the remote control receiver on the other TV monitor with an obstacle or insulation tape so that it does not receive the remote control signals.
