Unreliable expensive Product
i bought this product in 2017 and it bugs down on me in a little less than 3 years. i asked for a service technician to look at it and 4 days later it was inspected. The technician though was quite diligent in explaining what happened but that does not remove the fact that this product was not built to last. to add insult to the wound. We called the service center to follow up our case but the incident is still in process 3 days after ... view More
i bought this product in 2017 and it bugs down on me in a little less than 3 years. i asked for a service technician to look at it and 4 days later it was inspected. The technician though was quite diligent in explaining what happened but that does not remove the fact that this product was not built to last. to add insult to the wound. We called the service center to follow up our case but the incident is still in process 3 days after it was checked with no assurance that there will be replacement parts available. food got spoiled which is really frustrating considering a lot are getting hungry due to the typhoon and the pandemic that is happening. If this product is not built to last, you should have at least prepared replacement parts so that your product can be fixed the soonest possible time. this product is not cheap. it is expensive. and UNRELIABLE !!!

Expensive Defective Product
I bought this product in 2018 so it is just barely 5 years old when the freezer started not to freeze and the ref doesn't cool anymore. A technician came to repair after several rescheduling bec of no available tech. It was found out that there is a leak and no longer repairable. So option is they will either give me the 50% of the price but in 3 to 4 weeks or give me the 50% price buy a new LG ref and they will give me a 20% disc and check if they can give me 30% disc but I have to shell out remaining cost which to me is still big or buy a cheaper one costing the 50% of the ref so i won't shell out money. They cannot replace the unit bec it is5 years already, but the thing is, are LG ref designed just to last 3 to 5 years? I bought an expensive one thinking it will last for a long time. Am contemplating if I will buy LG again. They even say verbally that they will get my unit, so why? they will study it. Anyway, I will not recommend this ref.
