What is the point of an InstaView™ fridge?
With LG's ingenious InstaView™ technology, there’s no need to open the door of your LG Fridge to see what’s inside.
Simply knock twice on the tinted glass panel and it illuminates to let you check its contents. Why? Prevents cold air loss, keeps Fridge temperature stable, saves energy and keeps your food fresher for longer. It's the simple, energy-saving way to check what’s inside your LG Fridge without even opening the door.
Doesn't it generate heat when the light is on and affect the food?
The panel is equipped with anti-heat technology, and even if it is left on for a long time and generates very little heat, it is designed to diffuse the heat throughout the panel and not penetrate inside, so it does not affect food at all.
What are the available temperature themes?
Party Mode allows you to set a lower temperature for up to 12 hours.
Vacation Mode can be chosen for times when you are away from your home and wish to save energy by leaving the fridge slightly warmer than normal.
Sound Sleep Mode reduces the light usage of the refrigerator and turns off notification sounds during a set period of sleep time.
Additionally, you can set the temperature using various product themes: Beer/Beverage (1°C), Yogurt (2°C), Fruit (2°C), Vegetable (3°C), Sparkling Wine (4°C), and White Wine (7°C).
Is it possible to display any image or pattern on the door?
You can only change the fridge’s LCD panels to display images and patterns available within the ThinQ® app.

The thinQ® app can be installed and used on Android or iOS smartphones. Go to Lg.com to learn about features, system compatibility, and service availability information.
