Over-the-Range Convection Microwave Oven with Air Fry, Model # MHES1738N, has a 5-speed vent fan that should be turned on whenever you use the oven range cooktop below it. The fan captures smoke, steam, and odors and also prevents the heat from the cooktop from damaging microwave components. If the microwave is cooking, the vent fan turns on automatically if the sensors detect too much heat from the cooktop. This is designed to prevent microwave component damage. Timed Ventilation can be set by pressing Auto Timeset to set the ventilation time. The ventilation time will change in sequence from 1 to 3, 5, 10, and 30 minutes...^Ivan.

Hello, Jim Reb. As with all other LG Over-the-Range Microwave Ovens, the LG STUDIO 1.7 cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Convection Microwave Oven with Air Fry, Model # MHES1738N, can be vented in one of three ways: Roof Venting, Wall Venting, or Room Venting. The ductwork you need for outside ventilation is not included with the oven. If you have existing ductwork that is round, you must use a rectangular-to-round adapter, with a rectangular 3" extension duct installed between the damper assembly and the adapter to prevent the exhaust damper from sticking. The microwave oven is shipped with the blower assembled for room venting. You need to adjust the blower if you want wall-venting or roof-venting installation...^Ivan.

These water filter model numbers all refer to the same water filter, the LG LT1000P® - 6 Month / 200 Gallon Capacity Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter, and the only difference is the packaging. P is a single filter in a paper box, PC is a single filter in a clamshell, and PCS is two filters in a clamshell...^Ivan.
