Bluetooth

You can connect your device to nearby devices that support Bluetooth to exchange data with them. Connect your device to a Bluetooth headset and a keyboard. This makes it easier to control the device.

Pairing with another device

You must pair your phone with a Bluetooth device before you connect to it.

  1. On the home screen, tap

    Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap
    switch off icon
    BluetoothON/OFF to turn Bluetooth on and search for the devices within your phone's range.

NOTE

Only devices set as visible are displayed on the list.

  1. Choose the device you want to pair with from the list.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to perform authentication.

NOTE

This step is skipped for previously accessed devices.

Once pairing is successful, your phone will connect to the device.

Sending data via Bluetooth

  1. Open the item you want to send, then tap
    Sharing icon
    Share.

OR

Touch and hold the item you want to send, then select Share.

OR

Open the item you want to send, then tap Option iconOptions > Share.

  1. Tap Bluetooth to share via Bluetooth.

NOTE

The method for selecting an option may vary by data type.

  1. Search for and pair with a Bluetooth-enabled device.

Receiving data via Bluetooth

  1. On the home screen, tap

    Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap
    switch off icon
    BluetoothON/OFF to turn Bluetooth on
  3. Tap ACCEPT when you receive a data request.
