To compose and send a message

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps Key > Gmail > Compose .

  2. Enter a recipient’s address.

    As you enter text, matching addresses are offered from your Contacts list. You can tap a suggested address or continue entering text to enter a new one.

  3. Tap the Menu Key > Add Cc/Bcc to copy (normal or blind copy) recipients, if necessary.

  4. Enter a subject for the message in the Subject field.

  5. Continue into the next field to enter your email message.

  6. Tap the Menu Key > Attach picture or Attach video to add an attachment to the email.

  7. Tap Send at the top of the screen to send your message.

    If you’re not ready to send the message, tap the Menu Key > Save draft to save the message as a Draft. You can read your drafts by opening messages with the Draft label.

    To erase the message, tap the Menu Key > Discard (including any saved drafts).

    If you aren’t connected to a network, for example, if you’re working in Airplane mode, the messages that you send are stored on your phone with the Outbox label until you connect to a network again.
