To reread a message

When you open a conversation, messages that you’ve already read are minimized into a tab that indicates the number of hidden messages.

1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Gmail . Then tap the conversation you want to view.

2. Tap the contact name to open that message.

While reading a message you can tap mark the conversation as important. Two yellow forward symbols appear on the left side of the conversation making it easy to see your marked conversations. For example, it can remind you to read it again later.
