To place a call by dialing

Tap the Home Button > the Phone icon > Dial tab.
1. Dial Tab
  
  Displays the dialpad.
2. Call Button
  
  Tap here to dial the number that you entered manually.
3. Voice Dialer Button
  
  Tap here to dial by saying the number.
4. Delete Button
  
  Tap here to delete incorrect number(s) (appears after you begin entering numbers).
5. Touch and hold to enter the plus ( + ) symbol to dial an international number.
6. Message Button
  
  Tap here to send a message to the number that you entered.
7. Voicemail Button
  
  Tap here to access your voicemail feature.
Use the dialpad to enter the number you want to call.
- Tap the Delete Button to erase digits one by one (or touch and hold it to erase the entire number).
- To dial an international number, touch and hold to enter the plus ( + ) symbol. Then enter the international prefix for the country, followed by the full phone number.
Tap the Call Button (on the dialpad) to dial the number that you entered.
- Press the Volume Buttons to adjust the call volume.
- Use the on-screen buttons to enter additional numbers, place the call on hold to take another incoming call, add another call, use the speakerphone, end the call, and other options.
- You can use other phone features while the call is underway (however you can't use mobile data during a call). If you open another app, the Ongoing call notification appears on the Second screen (above the Status Bar) for the duration of the call.

NOTE

If you opened other apps while on a call, you'll need to return to the Call screen to end the call. To return to the Call screen, simply tap the Ongoing call notification (at the top of the screen). You can also tap the Home Button , then tap the Phone icon or drag the Status Bar down and tap the Current call notification on the Notifications panel.

You can make High Definition Voice and Video calls as well as calls over Wi-Fi when you add Advanced Calling to your line.
