LG Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your conduct associated with our Customer Ratings and Review service (the "CRR Service"). To the extent of any conflict between our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use, these Terms of Use shall control with respect to the CRR Service. By submitting any content to via the CRR Service, you represent and warrant that:

• •  you are the sole author and owner of the intellectual property rights thereto;
• •  all "moral rights" that you may have in such content have been voluntarily waived by you;
• •  all content that you post is accurate;
• •  you are at least 13 years old; and
• •  use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity.

You further agree and warrant that you shall not submit any content:

• •  that is known by you to be false, inaccurate or misleading;
• •  that infringes any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy;
• •  that violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising);
• •  that is, or may reasonably be considered to be offensive, defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially biased, religiously biased, threatening or harassing to any individual, partnership or corporation;
• •  for which you were compensated or granted any consideration by any third party;
• •  that includes any information that references other websites, addresses, email addresses, contact information or phone numbers; or
• •  that contains any computer viruses, worms or other potentially damaging computer programs or files.

You acknowledge that you, not us, are responsible for the contents of your submission. You agree to indemnify and hold LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. (“LGEUS”) and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers, including but not limited to Bazaarvoice, Inc., harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys'' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

All content that you submit via the CRR Service may be used at LGEUS’ sole discretion. None of the content that you submit shall be subject to any obligation of confidentiality. For any content that you submit, you grant LGEUS a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such content and/or incorporate such content into any form, medium or technology throughout the world without compensation to you.

Ratings and written comments are generally posted within two to four business days. However, we reserve the right to remove or to refuse to post any submission for any reason or to change, condense or delete any submission that we deem, in our sole discretion, to violate our content guidelines or any other provision of these Terms of Use. We do not guarantee that you will have any recourse to edit or delete any content you have submitted.

By submitting your email address in connection with your rating and review, you agree that we may use your email address to contact you about the status of your review or for other administrative purposes.

Writing Guidelines

• •  Please keep your review focused on the product.
• •  Refrain from mentioning competitors, prices, other products, websites, "spam" or ads.
• •  Do not include any personally identifiable information or offensive comments.
• •  Avoid writing about customer service; contact us instead.

LG Incentivized Review Policy

This policy sets forth certain do’s and don’ts when posting about an LG product you’ve purchased and provided a review for in connection with an LG promotion. An incentivized review is a product review that is written by a consumer who has received some sort of compensation in exchange for writing an honest product review. Examples of compensation may include sweepstakes entries, coupons, gift cards, or free samples of products. Failure to follow this policy may result in disqualification from the applicable LG promotion. 1. 1. Online Identities. If you create an alias, you may not use the LG name in your online identity (e.g. username, alias, or screen name) in a manner that indicates the identity is a LG sponsored identity. Please use the same email for which you received the invitation for the offer.
2. 2. Be Ethical. Recognize that you are legally liable for anything you write or present online. Because you are legally responsible for your postings, you may be subject to liability if your posts are found defamatory, harassing, or in violation of any other applicable law, including but not limited to sexual or racial harassment. Be sensitive to racial, ethnic, cultural or other population specific considerations.
3. 3. Contribute Meaningful Content. Stick to discussing the product. Your posts should be relevant to the LG product you have purchased.
4. 4. Give Your Honest and Truthful Opinions. Make sure you are always honest and accurate when posting information and your opinion. Accurately and completely reflect your experience with a product.
5. 5. Only Make Factual Statements That Are Truthful and Can Be Verified. If you make a claim about LG or any of its products or its features/characteristics (e.g., the battery on this computer lasts 3 hours), make sure such claim is verified, truthful, and not misleading before you post it. Remember that even if you don't expressly state a fact, it may be implied, and this policy applies to both express and implied messages.
6. 6. Do Not Make Negative Posts or Disparage Other Individuals, Products, or Brands. Do not engage or otherwise respond to other users in a negative manner. Similarly, do not start or participate in conversation threads that disparage or speak negatively about other individuals, products, or brands.
7. 7. We Reserve The Right To Ask You To Remove Content. As a condition of participating in the applicable LG promotion, you agree that we may immediately remove, take down, or delete any published content relating to LG, its products or its services, those of its competitors or those associated with LG, from any site or platform that LG finds objectionable or in violation of law or regulation.
