LG TV – How to Connect Your LG TV to Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant

Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant come built into many LG TVs. You can control the TV, launch apps, search for content, and much more using simple voice commands. When paired with the LG ThinQ app it makes it easy to control your LG TV and other LG devices with your voice.

1Download ThinQ App & Amazon Alexa.

2Register or Sign-in to both apps.

3Add the desired TV to the ThinQ app.

4Link LG ThinQ with Amazon Alexa

Alexa - [Setting Up The Alexa App]

1From the Alexa home screen → select [More Menu].

2Select [Skills & Games].

3Search in Alexa skills for [LG ThinQ].

4Select the LG ThinQ Option.
Next
Alexa - [Enable the ThinQ App & Logging in]

1Once located, select [LG ThinQ] then select [Enable to Use].

2You will be prompted to sign in to LG ThinQ.

3Once signed, Select [Continue].

Alexa - [Finish ThinkQ Setup and Use The Alexa App]

1When completed, you should get a [Successfully Linked] message, then select [Next].

2Give the app a moment to finish the set up.

3Once account linking is complete, devices connected in ThinQ will be displayed under [Devices] section.

- Some WebOs 22 and newer models will require Google Home setup to use this voice control function
1Download ThinQ App & Google Home.

2Register or Sign-in to both apps.

3Add the desired TV to the ThinQ app.

4From the Google Home Screen select [Settings].

1Select [Works with Google].

2Search for [LG ThinQ].

3Select [LG ThinQ] then select [Continue] to link ThinQ with Google Home.

1Once linked, select the device you want to add

2Select the rooms you wish to it to.

3Under Devices you will see all the devices added to the app sorted by location.
