Cordless Filter Cleaning - Vacuum Cleaner Audio Description

This guide shows you how to quickly and easily remove, wash and replace the pre-filter and exhaust filter on your LG CordZero™ Vacuum.

  1. Remove pre-filter.

    Turn the outer exhaust filter counterclockwise to remove it. Lift out the pre-filter by the handle.

  2. Clean the motor.

    Use the brush attachment to clean off the motor inside the filter compartment. Do not use water.

  3. Clean exhuast filter.

    Clean the exhaust filter with a brush or running water. To maintain performance, remove the dust from the filter at least once a month.

    NOTE: Allow the exhaust filter to dry, out of direct sunlight, in a well-ventilated place. Reinstalling the filter before it is completely dry may result in mildew or odor.

  4. Wash and dry filter.

    Clean the pre-filter with a brush and running water. The more often the filters are cleaned, the more optimal the suction power will be.

    NOTE: Allow the pre-filter to dry, out of direct sunlight, in a well-ventilated place. Reinstalling the filter before it is completely dry may result in mildew or odor.

  5. Reassemble.

    Reassemble the pre-filter first. Then align the exhaust filter with the hollow circle at top and turn the filter clockwise until the solid white circles align.

  6. Clean dustbin.

    Whenever you clean the clean the exhaust filter and pre-filter, it’s a good idea to empty and clean the dustbin and remove and clean the cyclonic mesh filter also. For complete instructions, see the owner’s manual.

    NOTE: To avoid odor, allow the cyclonic mesh filter to dry completely in a well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight for at least 24 hours before assembling
