How to Charge Your Device
Pairing Your Wear OS Device
-
Download and install the Wear OS by Google app.
-
On your phone, open the Wear OS by Google app.
-
Tap Set it up, select the name of your smartwatch and tap Pair.
-
A code will appear on both your smartwatch and Android device.
-
If the codes match, tap Confirm on your phone.
-
If codes don’t match, restart your watch and try again.
Navigating Your Watch
Swipe Up:
View and Manage Notifications
Swipe Down:
Access quick shade settings.
Swipe Left:
Activate Google Fit on Wear OS by Google.
Swipe Right:
Activate your Google Assistant.
Long Press:
Choose a watch face to suit your style.
Enable Theater Mode
When theater mode is enabled, the screen is turned off and will not be turn on unless you press the power key.
To access Theater mode open:

Open the Quick shade

Select Brightness control

Touch Theater mode icon at the bottom.
Touch Lock
Touch lock function turns off the display and prevents it from waking up inadvertently when touched. Press the power button to turn on the display. The Setting is applied one time only. To enable touch lock again, reactivate this function from the menu.
To activate, open:

Tap OK
To release touch lock, press the Power button once.
Disable Notifications
From Android Oreo OS notifications have been broken down into more granular categories. This allows you to control specific types of notifications for an application. The app developer defines what options are available to control.
To disable notifications, do the following

Select App notifications from the list

Select Show all

Select an app

Set the notification of each App or App Categories
Change Vibration Pattern
Select from three vibration patterns on the watch for notifications received from the paired device.
To change the vibration pattern, do the following:

Select Vibration pattern

Select from Normal, Long or Double.
Gestures
Wrist gestures are available for use in operating your device. To enable wrist gestures simply Tap Settings and then Gestures.

To see your first notifications:

Wake up the watch by tilting the screen towards you.

Quickly flick your wrist away from your body, and then slowly turn it back towards you.
To see the next notification:

Flick your wrist again away from you.

Turn it back towards you slowly.
To scroll back a notification:
- Slowly turn your wrist away from.
- Quickly flick your wrist back towards you.

How to manually check for a software update:

Incompatibilities with iOS
Some features on your device will not support iOS. You can find that list below.

Cloud notification - Not supported

Some voice commands - Incomplete support

Voice commands such as “Send a text message” or “Navigate to XX” are not supported when linking with the iOS device.

Making a call or sending a text message from the address book
-
Making a call using the contact found in the address book or sending a text message with a voice command are not supported.

No Watch APP installation
-
The “Find my phone” watch App is not shown when connected to iOS.
Contacts Not Synced
What should I do if the contact list is not synchronized with the watch when linking with iOS?
iOS OS version 11.4+ synchronizes the Google account and address book saved in the iCloud account.
If the contact list is not synchronized:
-
Update iOS to the latest version.
-
Download the latest “Wear OS by Google” App from App Store
-
Reconnect the watch to the phone.
Note: Only contacts included in the Google account are transferred to the watch.
Watch Calibration
If the watch hands appear off from the actual time or correct position you can calibrate them using the Master Tools app on the watch.

Open Master Tools app on the watch
-
Tap Calibrate
-
A tutorial will display the first time, scroll down to finish the tutorial
-
The watch hands will point to 12:00.
-
If you notice the hands don’t align, select the hand to calibrate using the top or bottom button on the side of the watch.
-
Press the Plus or Minus button on the screen to move the position.
-
Once adjusted properly press the checkmark.
-
Repeat steps 5-7 if needed for the other hand.
Voice Recognition Issues
If Voice command or Google Assistant doesn’t recognize specific words or sentences, clear the Cache of Google app from the phone. Google app has the historic voice date of user. If watch doesn’t recognize specific words, Google app may have non-perfect voice data for it.

How To Enable Always-On Display

Swipe down and press the Settings icon on the top right.

Go to the General tab, and select Apps & Notifications

Select the Google app from the list.
-
Select Storage from the list.
-
Press Clear Cache from the list.
No Wi-Fi Connection After Entering Password
When connecting to a password protected Wi-Fi, the password must be entered on the paired phone.
If an incorrect password is entered, connection fails and shows as Saved in the Wi-Fi menu.
To confirm you have entered it correctly check whether “Connected” message appears under the selected Wi-Fi name. If the “Connected” message is not displayed, remove the connection and register again.
If an incorrect password is entered, do the following:

Open Settings

Wi-Fi

Saved network.

Press the X next to the Wi-Fi SSID and confirm you want to forget network. Then re-add the network per the above instructions.
Manually Adding a Wi-Fi Network
To manually add a network, do the following:

Select Which Wi-Fi to use

Press Enter on Phone

Input the password on the phone
Not Receiving Notifications

Ensure that App Notifications is Enabled
Before doing the following ensure that in the Wear OS App that notifications are enabled.

Swipe down and press the Settings
-
Go to the General tab and select Apps & Notifications.

Select See All Apps and select Wear OS by Google from the list
-
Select Notifications from the list.
-
Ensure that the notification slider is set to on.
Note: These settings will vary depending on your device. Consult your device manual for the proper way to enable notifications.

Ensure that App Notifications is Enabled
Notifications can be selected from the iOS Wear OS app.

Open the iOS Wear OS App

Select an App to and set it to On to generate a notification on the watch.

Trouble Receiving Call Notifications
Check whether BT is connected in the Wear OS App. It should look like the image below:
