Note- ALWAYS follow the guidelines in your dishwasher owner's manual to ensure you use the proper type and amount of detergent.
- NEVER use a dish/hand soap designed for washing dishes in the kitchen sink. This will lead to suds filling the dishwasher and cause your unit to leak.
1 Press the latch to open the dispenser and add detergent to the main wash compartment.
2 Close the cover. You'll be able to hear the latch click. If needed, add detergent to the pre-wash compartment.

Wipe any water from the detergent dispenser.
Any water left in or around the detergent dispenser, can cause the detergent to sticks to the dispenser.
Before you add the detergent, wipe off any water left in the detergent dispenser and your hands using a dry cloth -
Push the lid of the detergent dispenser until it clicks into place.
If the lid of the detergent dispenser is not properly closed after you add the detergent, the detergent might leak even before you start washing
