At a Glance
In the event that the drum light is no longer working, most dryer models allow the drum light to be replaced without the need for a service technician.
Note :
Dryer models that have a wired bulb and not a light bulb will require service to replace.
Try This

Disconnect the Dryer from Power
To prevent injury and/or damage to the unit disconnect the unit from the power supply before performing any repairs.

Locate the Drum Light Bulb Housing
The light bulb is located on the upper left interior of the dryer door.

Remove the Light Cover
Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the screw holding the light cover in place.
Once the screw is removed, slide the cover up slightly to remove it.

Remove the Bulb
Unscrew the light bulb from the housing.
If the old bulb has a rubber gasket on it, remove the gasket and place it on the new bulb. -
Reinstall the Bulb and Light Cover
Install the new 15 watt 120 volt bulb (Part No. 6913EL3001A).
Remount the cover and slide it down to lock it in place.
Reinstall the screw holding the light cover in place. -
Reconnect the Power Cord
Once connected, retry activating the drum light to ensure everything is functioning properly.
