[LG Dryer Filter] How to clean the filters

  • Troubleshooting

To reduce drying time and save energy, it is essential to clean the dryer filters after every use.
Using the dryer repeatedly without cleaning the filters will result in a lint-filled rubber gasket as illustrated in the image below.

Inner filter : Clean before/after every use.

Outer filter : Clean if a lot of lint has gathered or before/after every use.
(It is normal for the filter clean indicator to blink when powering on the dryer. Always check the filters before using the dryer.)

When removing the filters, some lint or small pieces of clothing may fall into the filter compartment.
If this occurs, use a long brush, wet wipe or the vacuum cleaner to remove the lint or items.

Warning!

If you clean the filters with water, ensure they are completely dry before reinserting them.
Moisture may block the micro holes of the filter, leading to increased drying times and potential odors.
Allow the filters to air dry or use a dry cloth to remove any moisture.

Try this.
