LG Dryer - How to Use the Different Manual Dry Cycles?

Use one of the manual dry cycles when you want to dry items for a set amount of time depending on the fabric type.
Since it is manual drying, the cycle runs as long as the set duration.

Rack Dry cycle.

➔ Use this cycle when it is necessary to dry clothes using the drying rack, i.e. on a flat surface without tumble action.
The Rack Dry cycle can be used to dry delicate clothes such as sweaters.

Warning!

Do not tumble dry delicate fabric that is prone to shrinkage when exposed to heat.
Such items can get ruined by the drying heat.

Heated Dry/Air Dry cycle.

➔ Use these cycles when you want to dry relatively light loads of clothes for some fixed time.

How to use manual drying cycles (button location may differ depending on the model.)

1. Press the Power button.
2. Select Rack Dry / Heated Dry / Air Dry cycle.
3. Press the More Time button and the Less Time button to set the drying time.
4. Press the Start/Pause button.

Turn on the power, turn the dial, select manual drying, set the time, and press the start button.
note
The duration of the Rack Dry cycle can be set between 30 minutes to 3 hours and 25 minutes.
Air Dry/ Heated Dry cycle time can be adjusted depending on the option to which Dry Mode is set.
  • Air Dry cycle : 30 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
  • Heated Dry cycle : 30 minutes to 3 hours and 25 minutes.
※ If you want to run the dryer again as the blanket was not completely dried, set the drying time in the range of 30 to 40 minutes.
