[LG Front Loader] How to Clean the Tub

  • Troubleshooting

Why does the tub smell strange?

➔ LG’s antimicrobial washer tub is designed to suppress the growth of microorganisms.

However, if the appliance is used for an extended period in a humid, shaded environment, bacteria and fungi in the air can adhere to the water stains on the tub.
Without proper maintenance, the tub may become contaminated and develop an unpleasant odor.
Additionally, excessive use of fabric softener can also contribute to the tub smelling bad.

Try this

Use fabric softener in moderation, following the manufacturer’s guidelines.

The recommended dosage according to load is written on the label of the fabric softener.
