When the update is available, a notification will display
. Tap the notification to view the available software update.

Tap Restart & install. Your phone will restart and begin the update process.

The phone will reboot in system update mode. A progress bar under a green android will display the upgrade progress.

When the upgrade is complete, the phone will restart and transition through a series of alerts stating Android is upgrading.
Troubleshooting
If you have not been notified of an available software update, you can manually check if one is available.

From the Home Screen, tap Apps

Tap Update LG software > Check now to manually check for a new update.

You will be prompted if a new software update is available. Continue from Software Update, step 1.
Software update is only available Over-The-Air.
