Connect your laptop to an external output device (monitor, TV, beam projector) with an HDMI cable.

On your laptop keyboard, press the [ + P or Fn + F7] keys.
In the [Display on Another Screen] menu, select one of [PC Screen Only], [Duplicate], [Extend], [Second Screen Only].
Check the sound output settings in Windows
For sound to be emitted from an external output device (monitor, TV, beam projector) the sound output settings in Windows must be adjusted.
On the right side of the task bar, click the [Speaker] icon, then the [ > ] sound output selection icon.
Select a device that can support [sound output] and check if the sound is transmitted without issue.
