You can burn CD/DVD from Windows file explorer or Windows Media Player.
※ Burning can also be done using Nero Burning ROM or other programs provided as bundled software.

Try this
Prepare your DVD(external ODD) ROM and blank CD/DVD media.
Insert the blank CD/DVD into the CD/DVD drive and close the disc tray.
Burning files in Windows file explorer
When you insert a recordable DVD/CD media into the DVD ROM, the [Burn a Disc] window pops up.
[Like a USB flash driver or With a CD/DVD player]
In the [Burn a disc] pop-up, input the disk title and select one of [Like a USB flash drive / With a CD/DVD player].
➔ [Like a USB flash drive] - After DVD-RW format is completed, you can save, edit, and delete files on the disk.
➔ [With a CD/DVD player] - Copy the DVD/CD media to the drive with the mouse, then [right-click on an empty space] and select [Burn to Disc].
After checking the [Disc Title], click [Next].
Once the disk burning is completed, click [Finish].
If the DVD/CD is burnable, the available space will be displayed.
Burning a disc in Windows Media Player
In the task bar search field, search [Windows Media Player].
In Windows Media Player, click [Burn].
Search for files to burn onto the CD and add them to [Burn List].
After adding all the files to burn, insert a blank CD or DVD and click [Start Burn].
