LG gram - Troubleshooting Windows Boot Failure

It can be due to a virus infection, or system file breakage during Windows updates, program collision, device driver error, storage device (SSD, HDD) problems and so on.

[How to enter Safe Mode]

Try shutting down the PC once or twice. If the problem persists, then boot in Safe mode to try a system recovery:

1. On the [Automatic Repair] screen, click the [Advanced Options] button.

11. In the [System Restore] window, click the [Next] button and select the date of successful booting. After that, click the [Next] button.

12. Below [Confirm your restore point], click the [Finish] button and then [Yes] to proceed to restore the time point.

Have you tried removing Windows updates?

The boot failure could be due to a problem with the most recent Windows updates.
From [Advanced Options], click [Uninstall Updates], then [Uninstall latest quality update] Uninstall items under the menu.

If the problem persists after following the above methods, then reset the PC while maintaining your files.

※ This method allows the user to delete Windows while keeping all personal files.
Please, note that, all user installed programs such as excel, powerpoint, Hangul and so on will be all deleted.
