The [LG Reader Mode] or [Night Light] function can be used to reduced the PC screen brightness.
It can help reduce eye fatigue and provide more comfort when reading a document.
As a result, in some of screens such as the white screen, it can appear a little yellowish.
Causes and Symptoms
- [Reader Mode] function is turned on.
- Night Light function is turned on.
- There is a problem in the color temperature setting.
Try this
Is the [Reader Mode] function turned on?
➔ On the keyboard, press the [Fn] + [F9] keys to switch the [Reader Mode] function to [Off] to turn off the function.
Is the [Night Light] function turned on?
➔ In Windows settings, turn off the [Night Light] function.
① In the input window at the left bottom of the screen, find and select [Night Light].
② In the night mode setting, click the [Turn Off Now] button to disable the function.
※ Using the hotkeys on the keyboard, enter [Windows] + [I] → [Windows Setting] → [System] → [Display] → [Night light] to turn off the function.
Did you try to set the color temperature?
① In the input window at the left bottom of the screen, find and select [LG Control Center].
※ You can press the [Fn] + [F1] hotkeys on the keyboard to run [LG Control Center] as well.
② In [LG Control Center] - [Color Temperature Setting], set the color hue to [Cold] or [Warm].
Due to the color temperature setting, in some of screens such as the white screen, it can look little yellowish.
Installing LG Control Center
Next, please install the LG Control Center.
you can access the LG Electronics website's Customer Support → Drivers and select [Laptop/Tab] from the [IT/Monitor] category and enter the model name.
After that, choose the corresponding Windows version from the [Operating System (OS)] category.
Once you have done this, you can proceed to install either the LG Update Center or the LG DnA Center Plus program.
