Your LG Laser TV is equipped with innovative features that make it easy to share and display content between devices, like your PC, tablet, smartphone and more. There are multiple ways to connect and they all depend on your network connectivity and the type of device you wish to share. |
There are multiple ways to stream and share content between your PC and your Laser TV. For example, you can connect to your TV using your home wireless network, provided your PC is DNLA enabled, or you can connect directly, without a wireless internet connection, using Wi-Fi Screen Share. |
1. |
Make sure that your Laser TV and your PC are connected to the same wireless network, through a single access point in order to connect via DNLA. |
2. |
If you don't already have a DLNA media player installed on your PC, you can download and install free Windows software here. (See link under DLNA section.) Before installation, close all running programs including firewall and Anti-Virus programs. |
Note: |
Right out of the box LG televisions will not work with Apple products or the Mac OS because the free DLNA software that we offer is designed for PCs running Windows. You may, though, have the option to look for a freeware digital media server built for the Mac platform instead. |
3. |
Start the application by double-clicking the Nero MediaHome icon. |
4. |
Once the application is installed on your PC, press the HOME button on the remote control and select Smart Share, then press ENTER or WHEEL. (You will see the icon for your device in the Smart Share hub on your Laser TV.) |
Note: |
The server on your PC should be running in order to watch the shared file on your Laser TV. |
