If your microwave has no power, this can be caused by a poor connection to the outlet, the outlet isn't receiving power, or there is a failure with the unit requiring service.
Try This
-
Check the power outlet.
Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into a wall outlet.
NoteAn extension cord or surge protector is NOT recommended.
-
Reset the GFCI outlet if you have one.
A GFCI outlet can trip as a result of an overloaded current or a faulty connection. Try resetting the outlet and retry the microwave.
-
Check the Circuit Breaker
Turn off the circuit breaker, wait 5 seconds, then turn the breaker back ON and retry the microwave.
-
Test the Outlet With Another Device.
This will identify if there is a problem with the microwave itself or if the problem is with the wall outlet.
If the test product works, there is an issue with the microwave and will require service.
