The LG Ultra Fine 5K display device 22MD5KA is a monitor that can be connected to a Mac device for use.
You can connect it to a Mac that supports Thunderbolt 3 or some Mac that support Thunderbolt 2 for use.

You are recommended to use a Mac OS version subsequent to Sierra 10.12.3.
Check the cable used for a connection.
When connecting a Mac host that supports Thunderbolt 3, use the Thunderbolt 3 cable in the basic package to make a connection.
When connecting a Mac host that supports Thunderbolt 2, use the Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter sold separately to make a connection.
If used by connecting to an adapter, the power delivery function is not available.
