Depending on the model, some monitors have no built-in speakers.
At the port on the back of the general monitor, if there is a port where you can insert your earphone (Headphone Out/3.5mm AUX port), then you can connect an external speaker.
In this case, it requires an external speaker (headset, earphone) that can be connected to the 3.5mm AUX port.
※ After checking the model name, see the product user manual.
Try This
① Transmit the digital video and audio signals from AV to the monitor.
As shown in the following figure, connect AV and the monitor with an HDMI cable.
※ In case of using the DVI to HDMI cable, there can be compatibility issues.
② Connect an external speaker (headset, earphone) to the Headphone Out port.
If you use angled headphones, it may cause a problem with connecting another external device to the monitor.
Therefore, it is recommended to use straight headphones.
※ Depending on the audio settings of the PC and external device, headphones and speaker functions may be limited.
