If your monitor powers on but doesn’t display an image when connected to an external device, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can perform to help correct this issue.

Confirm the Monitor is Receiving Power
Press and hold the [POWER] button on the monitor.
If it is receiving power, the screen should light up after a few seconds and display a No Signal messageNoteIf the monitor screen does not light up, please see our LG Monitor - Troubleshooting No Power article for further assistance

Perform a Hard Reset
1 Disconnect all connected cables (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) and the power cord from the monitor.
2 With the items disconnected, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
3 Reconnect cables and the power cord.
4 Press the joystick to power on the unit and see if the connection is restored.

Switch to a Different Input
If applicable, switch the connected cable to a different input to see if the picture is resolved.
You can also swap out the cable to see if the picture is restored.
